Another Swing Band Success

The Mahone Bay Legion Swing Band played a benefit for the Mahone Bay and Area Swimming Pool Society on February 11, 2012.  The Valentine's Day Dance was well attended, given the weather warnings that kept many people home by the fireplace!  The local pool will benefit greatly as a result of the evening's revenues and it did not hurt the Legion any either, as they ran the bar for the event.

Dutch Canadian Community Choir of Calgary at St. John's Anglican Church

St. John’s Anglican Church in Lunenburg is pleased to host the Dutch Canadian Community Choir of Calgary on their spring tour of Nova Scotia.
